Ahhhh, there's no cheery way to say this, but: let us be frank, I have flu of the piggy variety. Because I am currently unable to stay awake/concentrate on a screen for more than half an hour, I'm going to declare an at least semi-hiatus for The Doctor and company. :') On the assumption that I have the mild variant, I'm then going to a christening in Wales on Sunday and then moving on to Liverpool and staying there a few days for my brother's graduation - I will have my computer with me, but I won't be available that much, so my hiatus will probably be until next Wednesday. Ish.

If I don't recover quickly I'll be staying here and just being a flake. SO IT'S HIATUS TIME FOR ME either way. ♥ One being a lesser hiatus than the other.

♥! If I do start threads over the next few days then disappear, I will come back, I am merely desperately in need of entertainment :') so please be patient with me.

Sigh! Am disappearing for a few days up to a week. Continual distractions plus some dietary things and friends visiting and some other stuff means I will not be playing at any time except maybe in the morning, so I will return in a week or so. ♥ This effects Setsuna, Esther, Natsume, Veronica and the Doctor. ♥!

Okay, so apart from once when I first had the Doctor, and an unusual blip in February of this year, I don't threadlog. Alas, I do not have the patience.

This is obviously a problem when I drop a character and promptly reapp six months later. Especially when you have a memory that is very literally sieve-esque.

So. Did your character know the Doctor while he was here last time? Short answers like "yeah they interacted" and longer answers both accepted gratefully. ♥ I think I remember most of his relationships, but I don't want to forget anything, so this is necessary.

Okay so. Dalek Weekend has passed. And this means that the people I thread with most regularly at the very least have seen a side of the Doctor that I have not until now been able to portray in camp. We had some of it with Davy Jones, but the Doctor doesn't have the same determination to destroy Davy Jones as he does the Daleks. There's a distinct difference. And, with Dalek weekend being over, and the Doctor's post-Dalek weekend threads in mind, I feel the need to go through a few things. The Doctor's detachment to the importance of his own existence when bearing his enemies in mind, for example. The Doctor and the Daleks, in general. And ... some other things I'll make up as I go along, which is why I'm a piss poor essay writer.

But. This entire essay is based around something that Shigure said to the Doctor last night, which is:

"It is good to know that destroying your enemies is more important than protecting your friends, Doctor."

To destroy his enemies, once, the Doctor destroyed his entire race. Let's talk about that a bit.
